On Wednesday, February 5, 2025, SixDegrees.org activated its Building Kits program in partnership with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington, D.C. The IMF collaborated to bring the initiative to their team as part of their ongoing commitment to community engagement. Together, 3,000 essential resource kits were assembled for immediate distribution to local organizations supporting individuals experiencing homelessness in Washington, D.C. An additional 2,000 personal hygiene kits were distributed to network partners across the Black Hills region of South Dakota. This partnership resulted in the 40,000th kit of our campaign to be built and distributed as well as empowering us to reach constituents in the 50th state of our nation.
