On Thursday, October 24, 2024, SixDegrees.org activated its Building Kits initiative in Newark, Del. The organization delivered 5,000 basic hygiene kits to Phoenix Family Resource Center and volunteered alongside community members to organize inventory and support neighbors in need. The hygiene kits delivered to Phoenix Family Resources contained a total of 45,000 items of care valued at $50,650.

“The resource kits provided by SixDegrees are filling a huge gap in resources that we otherwise would not have funding for,” said Babita Jagnanan, executive director of Phoenix Family Resource Center. “On average, we support 5,000 individuals every month. Dignified access to these products is essential.”

SixDegrees is grateful to Bombas for their support of this activation.
