Disability Allyship Series with Jeremy Andrew Davis wins two Silver Anthem Awards

SixDegrees.org’s Disability Allyship Series with Jeremy Andrew Davis has been named a Winner in Social Media Content, Campaign or Channel and Special Projects, Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion for The 4th Annual Anthem Awards.

Awarded two Silver Anthem Awards, The Disability Allyship Series with Jeremy Andrew Davis is a groundbreaking initiative by SixDegrees.org to foster deeper understanding and inclusion of the disabled community, exploring intersections with race, gender, and more. Through a series of conversations, the campaign amplified diverse voices, challenged misconceptions, and empowered allies to take actionable steps toward accessibility and inclusion. Utilizing digital storytelling, it engaged both the disability community and broader population.

The primary goal of the series was to increase awareness of accessibility challenges, educate allies on how to support the disabled community, and spark inclusive conversations across intersecting issues like race and gender identity within disability advocacy.

The series reached over 250,000 people across multiple platforms, with thousands engaging in the conversation via social media to share their experiences. It led to a 7% increase in new followers and fostered key discussions on accessibility in workplaces, community spaces, and policy-making.
